Yummy cookies!!!

Aqua aerobics has proven to be beneficial in more ways than one. The ladies there like to share great recipes that they have come across and last week one of the women shared this great one that I just had to try. They are pumpkin cookies (one of my favorites) and they only have FOUR ingredients...that's right four!!! So the kids just had to jump in this one.

Now for the recipe:
2 spice cake mixes (If you don't want them to be overly spicy then use one spice and one yellow cake mix)
1 can pumpkin
1 bag chocolate chips
1 bag cinnamon chips (I had never heard of these before, but MAN are they amazing!)

And that is it! Mix all of the above in one bowl. Place by the spoonful onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 385 degrees for 10-12 minutes. What a perfect time of year to have such a simple recipe! Enjoy! Have any of you ever baked with cinnamon chips? What do you put them in?

I think Kayson and Faisal are the same age. (2, born in May)It wasn't so much that he was ready to move out of the crib as much as it was Ella needing to move out of her cradle. I guess he got pushed out, but thankfully he's done great with the change.

ok...so a few of you have asked questions about the recipe. The can of pumpkin is the large can. The cinnamon chips can be hard to find because they have been on sale lately so they have been sold out...but when stores do have them, I have found them at Albertson's and Maceys. I can only guess that Smith's would also have them, but have never checked. I will say that Walmart and Kohler's DO NOT have them, so don't waste the gas by trying there! Hope this helps! :-)

Yum! And cute pics of your kids...

Rick is going away this weekend...wanna go rock climbing with me on Friday or Saturday? Let me know and I'll get a babysitter lined up. :) If we go after 6pm, its only $10 for entry and I have tons of extra equipment so you won't have to rent.
