A happy heart day 2009

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! We had a very nontraditional Valentines day this year. Rather than spending it as a couple we decided to do it as a family. Ana made us this cute Valentine at school

For dinner we did Fondue...which the kids had never done before but absolutely loved! We had steak, chicken and shrimp that they could choose from. I made a few dipping sauces that they could then dip their meat in. It was very tasty.

I bought these DARLING sugar cookies for each of the kiddo's and one GIANT one for Chris. My friend who makes the amazing cupcakes http://cupcakesbyles.blogspot.com made these for me. They were so good!Obviously the kids loved them as well!

For a craft project me and the kids made these cute bags for them to take to school and hold all of their valentines in. They turned out so cute!

You put the valentine in the mouth to drop it into the bag...pretty cute ehhh?!

Yummy--fondue!

I love that you do crafts with your kids. Mine love it, and I just don't. They'd love to have you as a mom!

P.S. Love the cinderella post. We're having similar issues at our house as well!

can you let us know the ingredients you used to make your dipping sauces? I've been wanting to try doing fondue for a meal rather than just chocolate but since I don't have a pot, I'm to chicken to get one if I'm not gonna use it "often" or even semi-often

Holy Crowly those bags are AWESOME!!! So, so cute! Another idea put into the idea box for later use when needed and can't come up with one myself (which is all the time). Love all the valentines stuff, very fun! We spent it as a family as well, but let Chili's do the cooking.
