Hello blogger world! Ok now that you have picked your jaws up off the floor, you may keep reading. Ya ya, I know...six months since my last post! I really have no excuse except I got busy and to be honest, tired of hearing people give me crap about not commenting on their blogs or reading their blogs etc.
I love reading blogs, but on my schedule not other peoples. So here is my promise to all of you I will continue my blog writing but I really don't want to hear crap from anyone about not visiting their blog or not commenting on it. DEAL?!
So naturally much has happened to us over the past six months. Probably the biggest thing and most devastating happened back in December.
I had an ectopic pregnancy. It was one of the most difficult things that I have ever experienced, both physically and emotionally. I have wanted another baby for a long time, but hubby was not, shall we say.....on board with this idea. I would often have discussions with my Heavenly Father telling him that if there was supposed to be another member of this family (which I knew was the case) then it would have to be a miraculous conception since I had an IUD at the time.
Well needless to say I was SHOCKED when I learned about my pregnancy and five minutes later that it was an ectopic pregnancy. Talk about a roller coaster.
Some good did come of this horrible thing, Chris gave me an amazing blessing which brought much peace and insight to both of us. I LOVE having the priesthood in our home....what a blessing.
Well that was almost four months ago. I am back to normal...well as normal as possible. And we are looking forward to a new season, both in our lives and in the weather. I could go on and on about other things that have gone on in the past six months....but that seems overwhelming so for now that is what you get. So to my mom, Tara, my friend Amy and everyone else that has asked what has happened to my blog....there you go. I am back!
PHEW...now my blog will be back at the top of your blog lists instead of at the bottom. LOL Feels good to be back on top, if only for a moment.
A Dino-rific birthday cake
