Skiing with Tae

Tae and I were able to have a mommy/daughter date up at Sundance, for what turned out to be the last ski day of the season for us. We had such a good time! Tae has become such a good little skier and she just LOVES it. I loved being able to spend the day with my Tae Tae.

It was such perfect weather! Almost too perfect, the snow wasn't the best and I had to try really hard to keep going in-between hills. It was perfect for Tae though. She is doing so well at her S-curves. We can't wait for next year's ski season....I'm hoping that we can get Ana up on the mountain next year.

And yet another school project...

Yes, that is right...for your viewing pleasure....it is homework time! Taelynn had to construct a home found in the olden days from ancient civilization and we chose to do a Chickee hut. So last night she and I got our creative juices flowing and this was the result...not too shabby huh? Granted I would hate to live in it...way too drafty for my taste.

Taelynn gets baptized!!!

Yesterday was such a great day! Taelynn, we are so proud that you made the choice to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We know that your Heavenly Father is so happy that you made this important decision.

It really was such a special day for our little Taelynn.

I feel so blessed to be married to a man that is worthy to perform such sacred ordinances for our family.

We had this at the baptism for everyone that was in attendance to sign. I thought that this would be a fun way for Taelynn to remember all those that helped celebrate this special day with her.

I am soooo proud of myself! On Saturday I took Taelynn out to have her pictures taken of her in her new baptism dress. She is getting baptized this Saturday, so I wanted to take some pictures so that Chris could make a baptism announcement. We took her to the top of Alpine Loop and then to Thanksgiving point. I took 150 pictures!!! There were so many cute ones that I decided to make a video of the photos set to music. These were just a FEW of some of my favorites. I uploaded the video that I made to youtube and have the link below so you can go and view it. Enjoy! DISCLAIMER...I am NOT a professional photographer OR movie maker, so please don't be too harsh in the comments! I am very happy with how they turned out...not to bad for using my cute little pink Sony camera! (Plus it was FREE! Always a plus!!!) I really tried to think out of the box and be creative with the shots (Thanks Bekki for inspiring me!) Of course it always helps to have a beautiful subject matter!!! Tae was such a trooper and really didn't need to be coached, I guess she is a natural model (lucky her).
